May 1st-12th, Woodbine School will be taking part in swimming lessons at Canyon Meadows Pool. The school will be requiring 2-4 volunteers (both male and female) per classroom to help students.

Duties would include: assist students in getting dressed for swimming, putting their belongings in lockers, getting dry and dressed after swimming, and accompany on bus to and from school. All volunteers require a police clearance to help out. It is currently taking 4-6 weeks to obtain a police clearance through the CBE.
Please communicate directly with the school for all matters involving swim lessons, including volunteering.

Volunteer Clearance Process

1. Visit the school office – please bring valid government issued ID (driver’s license).
2. An ePIC letter will be emailed to you to begin the clearance process with the Calgary Police Service.
3. Clearance is valid for 5 years.
4. Complete and return the Annual Volunteer Registration Form
