Dear families,
The Woodbine Parent Association is looking at reinstating the Fun Lunch program through Healthy Hunger. The program serves two purposes, the first being that it’s one less day the parents need to make a lunch and second, it’s a great money generator for the school. We would use the funds raised to support our new Playground Initiative. Before we discuss whether or not to proceed with Fun Lunches, we wanted to get parent feedback.
The Fun Lunch Program requires volunteers to unpack orders, sort and distribute them. Volunteers would also help with the clean-up of package waste. We would require 1.5 hours of time per volunteer to make this happen.
